The Technika SMART box, produced by Fetch TV and rebranded by Tesco is a hard drive Freeview HD recorder with stacks of additional features to make any home entertainment system come alive. The built in twin HD tuner allows recording of one HD/SD channel while watching another, or simultaneous recording of two different channels and the 320GB hard drive gives ample space for up to 200 hours recording. There are two USB slots built into the unit which allow for playback of USB media, as well as exporting of recordings to both flash memory and external hard drives should you fill up the in built memory. The device is also WIFI enabled (b/g/n) to allow you to stream content from your home network and catch up services like iPlayer directly through your home broadband. Subscription to Fetch TV will also allow you access to a wide range of online media such as movies on demand.
